Do you menu plan? 🍔🌮🥗🍕 It’s a privilege, being able to rely on food being available to you when you want it, and knowing you’ll have the resources to procure it. I acknowledge this, and am grateful to be in a position to consistently do it. Sometimes I plan a week at a time, sometimes I knock out 4-6 weeks in one go. I started menu planning because “What do you want for dinner tonight?” is my least favorite question in the whole wide world. I just don’t have the wherewithal to make that decision on a daily basis. It makes me cranky. Meal planning eradicates that issue, while simplifying grocery shopping and meal prep at the same time. I save all past meal plan sheets in a file folder I keep in the kitchen, and I use them for reference every time I sit down to fill out a new week, so the more I meal plan, the quicker it becomes to do. I typically leave a few blank weekend spaces scattered throughout just for funsies, and we have no qualms about switching the plan if/when we feel moved to, but having a structure in place for reference is one of the kindest pieces of self-care I’ve habituated. Now the question that stumps me every night is, “What *time* do you want to eat dinner?” 🙃 Curious about how Soul Fitness Coaching can help you organize your health, habits, and home, one breath at a time?
